Yes. Alfa Decode runs local-first on your own device with no internet connection. You keep quoting, billing and recording production all day, and it syncs to the cloud automatically once you are back online.
Does it handle GST in India and VAT in the UAE?
Yes. GST invoices and reports for India and VAT for the UAE are built in. Bill customers with the right tax rates when you sell finished print jobs, and pull the tax reports you need.

How does it track paper, ink and plate stock?
You record purchases and suppliers for your raw materials. Completing a work order consumes the components used and produces finished stock at weighted-average cost, keeping material levels and job costs accurate.
Can I sell the finished printed goods through the system?
Yes. A completed work order produces finished goods into stock at cost; you then sell them through Sales or POS and bill the customer with GST or VAT, keeping production and sales in one connected system.
Is it cloud-based or can I run it on my own server?

Can it handle paper stock by size and GSM?
Yes. Inventory tracks each stock as its own item with purchase and goods-receipt notes, weighted-average cost and reorder alerts, so a 300gsm board and an 80gsm bond are counted and costed separately, not lumped together.
Does it cost a print run properly, including wastage?
Each job carries a bill of materials for its stock, ink, plates and finishing, and the work order consumes those from inventory as you produce. You see the real material cost of the run against what you quoted.
How do customers approve proofs and know a job is ready?
You send the proof and estimate for approval and record the sign-off against the job. Automatic WhatsApp updates go out when the job is ready and when it's delivered, so collections stop depending on follow-up calls.
Will it produce GST or VAT invoices for trade customers?
Yes. Invoicing is GST-ready for India with HSN and B2B handling, and VAT-ready for the UAE and KSA. Balances owed by regular trade clients sit on a customer credit ledger you can reconcile.
