How does it stop the same equipment being booked twice?
Every item has a live availability calendar. When you create a booking, the system checks the dates and blocks anything already reserved or out on hire, so you can't double-book a machine.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. AlfaDecode is offline-first — you can take bookings, check items out and bill at the counter with no connection. Everything syncs automatically once you're back online.
Can it handle GST, VAT or sales tax?
Yes. Invoices apply the correct tax for your region in your local currency, and the reports are ready for filing. It's GST/VAT-ready and e-invoice ready.
Can we keep our data on our own premises?
Your choice. Run AlfaDecode in the cloud, or keep it on-premise so your data stays on your own hardware. Either way it's the same system.
Can I take deposits and add damage or late charges?
Yes. Take a deposit when an item goes out, and add extras — delivery, cleaning, damage or late fees — to the customer's folio before you settle the bill.
