Does it work without internet?
Yes. AlfaDecode is offline-first, so the front desk, folios and billing keep running during an outage. Bookings and payments sync automatically once you are back online, across every device.
Can it handle GST, VAT or sales tax?
Every folio and counter sale produces a tax-ready invoice in your local currency. Reports break takings down by day, room type and payment mode, so filing and the handover to your accountant are straightforward.
Is my data in the cloud or on my own premises?
Your choice. Run AlfaDecode in the cloud so you can check occupancy from anywhere, or keep it on a machine at the property so guest data stays on-premise. Either way it keeps working offline.
How does it stop double-bookings?
The availability chart is the single source of truth. Once a room or bed is held or booked for a date range, it is locked out for everyone else, so the same space can't be sold twice.
Can I sell dorm beds as well as private rooms?
Yes. Set up private rooms and mixed or single-sex dorms as bookable units, then sell a whole room or an individual bunk. Occupancy is tracked bed by bed.
Does it connect to Booking.com, Airbnb or Hostelworld?
AlfaDecode manages your direct bookings, walk-ins and repeat guests — it does not sync availability with OTA or channel-manager platforms. You can enter OTA reservations on the same chart to keep one clear view of every room and bed.
