Does it keep working if the internet goes down?
Yes. AlfaDecode is offline-first, so you can add residents, collect rent and raise bills with no connection. Everything syncs automatically once you are back online.
Can it handle GST, VAT or sales tax on rent and services?
Yes. Rent and add-on services are billed as proper tax invoices, and the platform produces the GST, VAT and sales-tax reports you need in your local currency — it is GST/VAT-ready out of the box.
Is it cloud-based, or can the data stay on our premises?
Both. You can run it in the cloud or keep it fully on-premise so your resident and financial data never leaves your own hardware. The choice is yours.
Can it show me who hasn't paid this month?
Yes. Every monthly rent cycle tracks arrears per resident, so a single view tells you who has paid, who is overdue and the total outstanding across your properties.
Can residents pay their rent online through it?
AlfaDecode does not include an online tenant-payment portal. You record each payment when it is collected — cash, transfer or card — and it updates the resident's ledger and your reports instantly.
